Maria L. Rodriguez

Maria L. Rodriguez, 78, of Brownsville, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at her residence in Brownsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Rodriguez.

Maria is survived by her loving children, Sonia Rodriguez, Sylvia Rodriguez (Jesse Diaz+), and Alex Rodriguez (Sallie); her sisters, Antonia Del Bosque, and Elizabeth Martinez; dear cousin, Lydia Bruinsma; 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm with an evening service at 7:00 pm Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am Friday, April 3, 2026 at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Pallbearers will be, Alex Rodriguez, Kristian Castillo, Danny Castillo, John Martinez, Juan Jose Pacheco, Michael Martinez, Joshua Pulido, Gabby Castillo, Amanda Diaz, and Ramon Villagomez.
