Maria Liscano

Maria Liscano, 93, of Brownsville, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at her residence in Brownsville.

Maria Liscano was born in George West, TX, to Feliciana Gonzalez and Luis Liscano on February 27, 1931. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Gonzalez.

Maria is survived by her children, Martin Gonzalez, Jr., Maria Sylvia Lara, Magdalena Gonzalez, Jesus A. Gonzalez, Laura E. Perez, and Luis E. Gonzalez; siblings, Eleuteria Chavez, Gregorio Liscano, and Maria Inez Arreola; and 19 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm Thursday, August 8th, 2024, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, August 9th, 2024, at San Eugenio de Mazenod. Committal will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
