Maria R. Garza

Maria R. Garza, 94, of Brownsville, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ventura Salinas and Guadalupe Rocha; husband, Rafael Garza; son, Rafael Garza, III; grandchildren, Jose Gabriel Muñoz, and Gilberto Muñoz; great-grandson, Daniel Vasquez; siblings, Jose Rocha, Guadalupe Rocha, and Lupita Martinez.

Maria Garza is survived by her children, Reymundo Garza, Reynaldo Garza, Lydia G. Vasquez, and Rosalinda Muñoz; 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 6:00 pm Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. All services will conclude after the Funeral Service. Cremation to follow.
