Maria Reyna Salas Torres

Maria Reyna Torres, 73, of Brownsville, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.

Maria Reyna Torres was born in Gonzalez, Tamps., Mexico to Ines Hernandez and Serafin Salas on June 13, 1947.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Serafin and Ines Salas; son, Alfredo Orozco Salas; brother, Alfonso Salas; and sister, Isidra Salas.

Maria Reyna Torres is survived by her children, Martha R. Conner, Jesus Torres, Mizael Torres, Joel Torres, Juan Torres, and Manuela Trejo; siblings, Sara Salas, Abdon Salas, Serafin Salas, Manuel Salas, Jose Angel Salas, and Gustavo Salas; 15 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm on Thursday and Friday, October 15 and 16, 2020, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. All services will conclude after visitation. Cremation to follow.
