Maria Andrea Salazar

Maria Andrea Salazar, 88, of Brownsville, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.

She was preceded in death by his parents: Manuela Benavides and Bartolo Salazar; husband, Ildefonso Salazar; children, Noe, Ismael, and Benito Salazar, Minerva Flores, and Maribel Perez; brothers; Roberto, Ricardo, Romulo and Reynaldo Salazar.

Maria Andrea Salazar is survived by her daughter, Ninfa Salazar Garza; brothers and sisters, Crescencia Zavala, Angelica De La Cruz, Guadalupe Salazar, Erasmo Salazar, and Amelia Villapando; and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel Service will be held at 12:00 pm Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
