Maria Ninfa Wizar

Maria Ninfa Wizar, 82, of Brownsville, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026, at her residence in Brownsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maria Isabel Jaramillo and Manuel Longoria; siblings: Gloria, Jose, Manuel, and Rolando Longoria.

Maria is survived by her children: Monica Wizar Longoria, Olga Lidia Wizar de Orozco (Mario Antonio), Alberto Wizar Longoria, Gisela Wizar Longoria and Dora Ninfa Wizar Longoria (Jose Garcia); brother, Gonzalo Longoria and sister, Alma Serna; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm Sunday, July 19th, 2026, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, July 20th, 2026, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Guillen Community Cemetery.
