Maria L. Zamarripa

Maria L. Zamarripa, 77, of Brownsville, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021, at her Residence in Brownsville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugenio and Ernestina Mora Lopez; husband, Hector V. Zamarripa; son, Antonio Zamarripa; brother, Antonio Lopez; sisters, Norma Alicia Garza, and Josefina Lopez; grandsons, Antonio Zamarripa, Antonio Zamarripa, Jr., and Carlos Antonio Zamarripa.

Maria L. Zamarripa is survived by her children, Jose (Adela) Zamarripa, Jaime Zamarripa, and Javier (Martha) Zamarripa; siblings, Blanca Estela Rangel, Trinidad Hernandez, Guadalupe Rodriguez, and Gloria Flores; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-granddaughters; numerous nephews, nieces, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 am on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at St. Luke Catholic Church. Committal will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
