Maria Martha Garza Olvera Fernandez, 84, of Brownsville, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at her residence in Brownsville.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Garza; mother, Celia Tapia Olvera; fathers, Julio Olvera, and Francisco Fernandez; brothers, Oscar, and Roberto Olvera. 
Mrs. Garza is survived by her children, Melina Ann (Jorge) Moreno, Glenda (David) Garza, Mary Garza, and Alonzo (Ali) Garza; 7 grandchildren, Allen, Miranda, Marie, Joey, Christian, Natalie, and Valerie; 2 great-grandchildren, Liam, and Sebastian.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 am on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at St. Mary Catholic Church.  Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
