Miguel L. Moreno

Miguel L. Moreno Jr., 84, of Brownsville, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Spanish Meadows in Brownsville.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mercedes R. Moreno; daughters, Maria Esther Moreno, and Tomasita Rangel; grandson, Jesse Moreno, Jr.; brother, Jose Luis Moreno and a sister, Ma. del Refugio M. Fuentes.

Miguel is survived by his children, David Moreno, Miguel (Sandra) Moreno III, Celia (Charles) Grant, Jesse Moreno, Christopher Moreno, Miguel Jimenez, Esteban Jimenez; brother, Modesto L. Moreno; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Saturday, March 26, 2022. Continue visitation from 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers will be, Jaziel Lerma, Miguel "Mike" Moreno III, Miguel Moreno IV, Abigail M. James, Adam Romero, and Christopher Moreno.
