Nadia Mirtha Casares, 65, of Rancho Viejo, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.

Mrs. Casares is survived by her children, Diandra Casares, Lyana Barrientes, and Alonso Barrientes III; sisters, Norma Casares Rathgaber,and Nydia Aitkenhead; brother, Aaron Casares; 1 grandchild, Ivan Alonso Barrientes.

Visitation will be held from 4 pm - 9 pm with a Prayer Service at 7 pm on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be held at 9:30 am on Friday, May 14, 2021, at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
