Norma Munguia Chapa

Norma Munguia Chapa, 63, of Brownsville, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.

She is preceded in death by her father, Esteban Munguia.

Mrs. Munguia is survived by her 2 daughters, Maritza (Marty Reyes) Munguia, and Laura (Raul) Ortiz; mother, Josefa Chapa de Munguia; sisters, Margarita Olivares, Rosa Munguia, Elihever Munguia, Sofia Munguia, Olga Villanueva, and Marvelia Veloz; brothers, Esteban Munguia Jr., and Gerardo Munguia.

Visitation will be held from12:00 noon to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm on Friday, February 28, 2020, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Holy Family Catholic Church. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Pallbearers will be, Esteban Munguia Jr., Gerardo Munguia, Esteban Munguia III, Gerardo Munguia Jr., Eric Munguia, Rafael Munguia, Joel Munguia, and Anthony Ortiz.
