Pablo C. Tovar, 76, of Brownsville, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at Valley Grande Manor Nursing Home in Brownsville.

Pablo C. Tovar was born in Monterrey, N.L., Mexico to Maria Anita Coronado, and Pablo Tovar Garza on May 21, 1943.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Anita Tovar; brother, Rodolfo Tovar.

Mr. Tovar is survived by his children, Rodolfo Tovar, and Ana Lilia Elrod; a brother, Juan Carlos Tovar; and 5 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 07:00 pm on Friday, August 16, 2019, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 17th, 2019, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
