Pedro Elizardo Jr., 78, of Brownsville, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at his residence in Brownsville.

Pedro Elizardo Jr. was born in Brownsville, December 18, 1944, to Julia and Pedro Elizardo, Sr., on December 18, 1944. He worked 28 yrs. for the City of Brownsville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Julia Elizardo.

Pedro Elizardo, Jr., is survived by his wife, Faustina C. Elizardo; daughter, Diana Blanco, and son, Ruben Elizardo; 2 sisters, Manuela Gomez, and Berta Elizardo; 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, July 26th, 2023, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 27th, 2023, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Committal will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
