Petra Garcia

Petra Garcia, 87, of Brownsville, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021, at Valley Grande Manor Nursing Home in Brownsville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan Saldivar, and Ana Lopez; 1st husband, Joaquin Garcia, 2nd husband, Fructoso Sanchez.

Petra Garcia is survived by her children, Fausto Garcia, Enrique Garcia, Maria Sanchez, Fructoso Sanchez, and Jose Luis Sanchez; brother, Virgilio Saldivar, and sister, Antonia Saldivar; 21 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm on Sunday, January 31st, 2021, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Monday, February 1st, 2021, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Guillen Community Cemetery.
