Rafael Murillo, 72, of Brownsville, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at his Residence in Brownsville.

Rafael Murillo is survived by his wife, Audelia Murillo; children, Esmeralda (Ricardo) Rodriguez, Rafael (Laura) Murillo, Jr., Jose Armando (Jessica) Murillo, Diana Elizabeth Murillo, Alicia (Ruben) Zuñiga, and Melissa Murillo; sisters, Catarina Medrano, and Mary Lou Cadena; 17 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Guillen Community Cemetery.
