Raquel Anabel Martinez, 63, of Brownsville, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.

Raquel Anabell Martinez was born in Monterrey, NL, Mexico, to Raquel G. Martinez and Francisco P. Martinez on January 1, 1960.

She was preceded in death by her father, Francisco P. Martinez.

Raquel Anabel Martinez is survived by her mother, Raquel G. Martinez, and her brother, Francisco J. Martinez; 2 nieces: Samantha and Isabella Martinez.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 5:30 pm Thursday, October 19th, 2023, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, October 20th, 2023, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
