Raul G. Guzman

Raul Guzman Guzman, 84, of Brownsville, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Candelaria C. Guzman; parents, Cristobal and Lorenza Guzman; 2 brothers, Santiago and Ramon Guzman; 2 sisters, Maria Negrete, and Eugenia Treviño.

Raul Guzman Guzman is survived by his 4 daughters, Gudelia Avila, Elsa Raya, Veronica Rios, and Maria Candelaria Avendaño; 2 sisters, Sulema Mejia, and Evangelina Alaniz; and 7 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 9, 2021, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
