Obituary

Robertina E. Lara, 75, of Brownsville, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.

Robertina E. Lara was born in Santiago, Chile to Guillermina Ramirez and Gilberto Espinoza in 1946.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilberto and Guillermina Espinoza; her son, Robert Lara and her sisters, Elizabeth, and Guillermina.

Mrs. Lara is survived by her husband, Anastacio Lara; children, Rene Lara, Dania Denise Lara, and Jeniffer (Jose) Escobedo; siblings, Sylvia, Gladys, Ivan, and Americo; two grandchildren, Alexandria Lara and Danielle Denise Krebs.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm on Monday, April 25th, 2022, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, April 26th, 2022, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
