Obituary

Roberto Rodriguez Lopez, 69, of Brownsville, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.

Roberto Rodriguez Lopez was born in H. Matamoros, Tamps., MX to Margarita Lopez and Dionicio Rodriguez in 1952.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dionicio and Margarita Rodriguez; brothers, Rosendo Conrado, Alejandro Rodriguez, and Dionicio Rodriguez.

Roberto Rodriguez Lopez is survived by his wife, Maria Rodriguez; children, Arturo Lopez, and Elizabeth Rodriguez; siblings, Manuel Rodriguez, Guadalupe Alvarado, and Irma Hinojosa; five grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, April 29, 2022, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
