Rosa I. Vasquez

Rosa I. Vasquez, 71, of Mercedes, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.

Rosa I. Vasquez was born in H. Matamoros, Tamps., Mexico, to Herminia Ramos and Antonio Lozano Del Bosque on January 2, 1952. She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio Lozano and Herminia Ramos; husband, Humberto Vazquez, and her daughter, Veronica Vasquez.

Mrs. Vasquez is survived by her sons, Humberto Vasquez (Beatriz), Pedro Vasquez, Daniel Vasquez (Rhina), and Jesus Vasquez; sister, Maria Guadalupe Lozano Ramoe; Seven (7) grandchildren, and two (2) great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, May 17th, 2023, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
