Soledad H. Cortez

Soledad H. Cortez, 90, of Brownsville, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022, at her residence in Brownsville.

She is survived by her children, Victor Silva (Sofia), Arturo Silva (Jean), Jaime Cortez (Sara), Rosalva C. Rivera (Joey), and Petra Carrillo (Carlos); sister, Virginia Hernandez; 15 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, July 13th, 2022, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, July 14th, 2022, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
