Sylvia Garcia-Gaona, 63, of Brownsville, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021, at her residence in Brownsville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Lucila Garcia; sister, Ana Rivera.

Sylvia Garcia-Gaona is survived by her siblings, Rosalva, Asencion, Maria de Jesus, Jose Jesus, Jose Luis, Pablo, Maria Guadalupe, and Maria Magdalena Garcia, Isidora Essie Santoscoy, and Lucila Oñote.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
