Tomasa Fortuna

Tomasa Fortuna, 101, of Brownsville, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020, at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville.
She was a devout Catholic. Tomasa enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spending time with family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Atanacio and Monica Fortuna; 2 sons, Jose Cresencio and Juan Rivera; brothers and sisters, Atanacia, Vicente, Santiago, and Abrahana Fortuna.

Tomasa is survived by her children, Jose Armando Rivera, Irene Rivera, Felipe Rivera, Francisco (Leticia) Rivera, Osvaldo (Seferina) Rivera, Martha Torres, and Maria De Los Angeles Rivera.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 1:00 AM with an evening service at 7:00 PM on Monday, February 24th, 2020, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, February 25th, 2020, at Immaculate Conception Cathedral. Committal will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
