William Javier Polanco Quintal, de 85 años y residente de Brownsville, falleció el sábado 6 de septiembre de 2025 en el Valley Baptist Medical Center de Brownsville.
Nacido el 26 de octubre de 1939 en Yucatán, México, hijo de sus amorosos padres Elia Quintal y Vicente Polanco, William sentía un profundo aprecio por la música, especialmente por las conmovedoras melodías de La Sonora Santanera. Encontró alegría en la belleza de la naturaleza y vivió una vida marcada por su fe inquebrantable como un devoto testigo de Jehová, compartiendo las reconfortantes palabras de Dios con quienes lo rodeaban.
El amor de su familia enriqueció el camino de William, pero también sufrió una profunda pérdida. Le precedieron en la muerte sus queridos padres y tres queridos hermanos: Neida, Mario y Carmen Polanco. Aunque ya no está con nosotros, su espíritu sigue vivo a través de sus siete hijos: Alma Nora Polanco Castro, Damaris, Abigail, Elías, Neftalí, Aron y Ariel Ignacio Polanco, quienes continúan su legado.
También lo recuerdan con cariño sus diecisiete nietos y trece bisnietos, cada uno de los cuales tenía un lugar especial en su corazón, junto con numerosos otros familiares que tuvieron la fortuna de conocerlo.
El dicurso de funeral de William se celebrará a las 7:30 pm del viernes 9 de septiembre de 2025 en el Salón del Reino Playa Sol. Al reunirnos para honrar su memoria, abracemos el amor que compartió y las vidas que conmovió.

William Javier Polanco Quintal, aged 85, of Brownsville, departed this world on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.
Born on October 26, 1939, in Yucatán, Mexico, to loving parents Elia Quintal and Vicente Polanco, William carried a deep appreciation for music, especially the heartfelt tunes of La Sonora Santanera. He found joy in the beauty of nature and lived a life defined by his unwavering faith as a devoted witness of Jehovah, sharing the comforting words of God with those around him.
The love of his family enriched William's journey, but he was also met with profound loss. He is preceded in death by his cherished parents and three beloved siblings: Neida, Mario, and Carmen Polanco. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on through his seven children-Alma Nora Polanco Castro, Damaris, Abigail, Elias, Neftalí, Aron, and Ariel Ignacio Polanco-who carry his legacy forward.
He is also lovingly remembered by his seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in his heart, along with numerous other relatives who were fortunate to know him.
A funeral speech to celebrate William's life will be held at 7:30 PM on Friday, September 9, 2025, at Salón del Reino Playa Sol. As we gather to honor his memory, let us embrace the love he shared and the lives he touched.
