Yolanda Alicia Salazar, 29, of Cypress, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, in Woodlands.
She had a passion for competitive swimming and soccer and enjoyed music and dancing.
Yolanda is survived by her parents, Jorge Salazar and her step-mother Ana Cruz Alfaro and Veronica Reyes Williams and her step- father Warren Williams of Brownsville, TX; her eight siblings: Jorge Alan Salazar, Veronica Alejandra Salazar, Julio Cesar Godoy, Iris Rosario Cantu, Mariana Salazar, Mauricio Salazar, Jorge Alejandro Salazar and Ernesto Salazar; her maternal grandmother, Alicia Reyes Rivera; her paternal grandmother, Yolanda Salazar; her paternal grandfather, Jorge Salazar; and her best friend, Anahi Ortega. She also leaves behind her beloved pet, Sasha.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with an evening service from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Saturday 8:30 a.m. -12:00 PM with a Chapel service at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. All services will conclude at 12 p.m. Saturday September 20, 2025.
